The Coffee Breakdown
I am a self-proclaimed coffee junkie! There’s nothing like waking up, running to the coffee shop, grabbing an almond milk latte and starting my day. But that’s just not sustainable with two little babies, and honestly, it’s super costly in the long run. With that being said, I have tried SO many at-home coffee makers and I have FINALLY found the right coffee pot for me. I LOVE the Cuisinart Coffee Center 2-in-1 Coffee Maker with Over Ice. It makes a great pot of coffee, is really easy to use and you can make a single cup (using K cups), make a coffee over ice or several cups in the carafe.
Now, since I like a latte or a café au lait, I also purchased the Instant 4-in-1 Milk Frother + Steamer and it is the best $35 purchase I’ve made in a long time. It’s also so easy to use and is quick and easily froths almond and oat milks too! I make yummy café au lait’s every morning.
Lastly, I’ve been making my own Pumpkin Spice café au laits with the Chobani Pumpkin Spice Oat milk creamer and it is pumpkin spice heaven without the trip to the coffee shop or the $7 latte!)

Four Questions
I was listening to a podcast recently and I really wish I could remember which one it is and who said this, and as soon as I can find that I’ll add it, but they were talking about how, as children, their father asked them every night before bedtime four questions:
- What was the best part of your day?
- What was the worst part of your day?
- What was something kind someone did for you?
- What was something kind you did for someone else?
I wrote these down because I want to start asking myself, my spouse and my kids the same questions. These would also be amazing daily journal entries.

Lesson of the Week
Arrivals
I’ve recently learned that some things need to arrive in their own time. This has always been a hard concept for me to grasp because it requires many levels of trust, patience and faith. It’s something that may seem obvious and can easily be intellectualized, but intellectualizing something is very different than feeling grounded in it, or at peace (and I’m not a ‘fake it ‘till ya make it girl so truly feeling something is important for me). Too many minutes of negative self-talk and pointless comparisons to other people’s lives (what they have) rob the joy and heart of any given moment. Acknowledgement, gratitude and presence on the journey is what prepares you for the many, many arrivals of your life; the journey is the blood, sweat and tears, and the arrival is the peace of what has been and the faith for what’s to come. Trust the journey.
